A musical is a form of theatrical entertainment that combines music, singing, dancing, and spoken dialogue. Musicals have continued to evolve and remain a popular form of entertainment today, with new shows being produced and performed all over the world. It has a huge market and long history. However, there is currently no convenient and specialized digital ticketing platform for musical theater tickets to meet this increased demand.
I have taken on the challenge of creating a musical theater ticketing that not only offers a convenient and efficient purchasing experience but also serves as a community that understands the needs of musical theater enthusiasts.

The size of the theatre market in U.S. was about $4.9 billion in 2021, but a good app for that market is hard to find.

Musicals has a history over 150 years history at the end of the day. It is of great historical and cultural significance.

The 2×2 Matrix is a visual tool that consultants use to help me find oppotunities and make decisions.
Musical is a very visual and distinct form of stage. The simple and intuitive UX can better reflect its style. More social elements can solve the pain point that users want to have a dedicated platform and information channel for musical fans. As a result, the management of the simple ux and more social elements will have more possibilities.

The purpose of feature analysis is to understand what services and content other competitors in the market provide, and then determine what it should provide according to the positioning of my own product.
Among other features, I focus on adding customized, community-based services. On that basis, I hope to provide as much information and material as possible about musicals. That's why I pick these features.

USER TESTING
User testing allows me to gain a deeper understanding of my target users, including how they behave when interacting with your product or service and what they expect from the experience.
This is an interview for random testing of people in my app’s target group. I choose to choose targets in a drama bookstore (an occasion highly connected with musicals).The test lasted about 25 minutes, including background questions, test tasks, feature ranking, and the final feedback session. The tester was asked to browse the wireframe of the app on his mobile phone and complete these projects.

Persona is a fictitious character, representing your target users. It allows me to better understand the target audience and make design decisions accordingly.
USER JOURNEY
A user journey is a path a user may take to reach their goal when using my app, it allows people to visibly identify pain points and the solution to them.
The competing features of my app are the personal recommendation and the community, that is, the friend system and the recommendation. In the app, so those features are highlighted. Reliable and convenient channels are also one of the pain points of users, so I added this part before payment. Basically, my software is a ticketing software, so I added the purchase and payment phases at the end.

That's why I chose a combination of a powerful font Oswald and a single and light font Segoe UI . The color palette I choose refers to the lighting effect on the stage.
